Candidate Data Notice

How Recruitta handles candidate information — from registration and availability through screening, matching and communications.

Draft wording — pending legal review

This page contains placeholder wording written in plain English to describe how Recruitta intends to operate. It is not legal advice and has not yet been reviewed or approved by a qualified legal adviser. Final wording will replace this text before it is relied upon.

Purpose of this notice

This notice explains how Recruitta handles information about people who register with us, apply for a role or are put forward for temporary or permanent assignments. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

Candidate registration

When you register, we collect the details needed to understand who you are and what work you are looking for.

  • Name, contact details and location or travel radius.
  • CV, qualifications and certifications.
  • Role preferences, sector experience and pay expectations.
  • Any information you choose to share in support of your application.

Work history and availability

We record work history, skills, shift preferences and availability so that we can match you accurately and avoid contacting you about unsuitable work.

Where you work on assignment, we may also process timesheets, hours worked, assignment feedback and payroll-related details. [Placeholder: payroll and umbrella arrangements to be confirmed at legal review.]

Screening and right-to-work checks

Where a role requires it, we carry out checks appropriate to the assignment. These may include identity and right-to-work verification, references, qualification checks and, for regulated roles, criminal record or safeguarding checks.

Some of this information is sensitive. It is collected only where necessary for the role, is limited to what the role requires, and is handled with additional care. [Placeholder: lawful basis and specific conditions for processing special category and criminal offence data to be confirmed at legal review.]

Role matching

We use the information you provide to match you to suitable vacancies and assignments. Matching is carried out by our consultants; where any automated shortlisting tools are used, this will be explained here and a human review will apply.

Candidate communications

We will contact you about registration, suitable roles, assignment details, compliance reminders and payroll matters.

You can tell us at any time to reduce contact or to stop contacting you about new opportunities.

Data sharing

To place you in work we may share relevant details with client organisations considering your application, and with providers who support our operations such as payroll, background screening and IT systems.

We do not share regulated care-at-home service enquiries through this route; those are handled separately by our sister company, PurpleNest Homecare.

[Data sharing placeholder: named categories of recipients, client-specific requirements and any international transfers to be confirmed at legal review.]

Retention

[Retention placeholder: candidate records to be held for X months from your last activity or assignment, with compliance and payroll records held for the periods required by law. To be confirmed at legal review.]

You can ask us to remove your details at any time, subject to records we are required to keep.

Your rights

You have the same rights described in our Privacy Policy, including access, correction, deletion and objection. To exercise them, email [privacy@recruitta.com — placeholder] or use the contact page.
